Gino Granieri

Born in 1966 with Swiss and Italian roots and educated as IT Specialist, I was working for more than 25 years as a Software-Testmanager within the Financial Industry for many famous companies in Switzerland and around the world.

At the same time I was always engaged in photography, using film to capture pictures for clients as a side job. At the beginning of the 2nd IT crisis, I was released. That was the moment in which I founded granierifotodesign.  Working on photo shoots for Marionnaud, Emmi Switzerland, Mercedes-Benz Switzerland, Dior Switzerland and many other well-known brands, followed by two exhibitions in Florence Italy, offered me more and more satisfaction.

Creating magic in photo studio, animating models to express that special moment in a fraction of a second, playing and directing with lights or turning street scenes into unforgetable moments which are moments in time motivated me to go beyond. 

For this reason, I decided in late 2018 to apply to Spéos International Photography School in Paris for a professional education as “Master in Photography RNCP.” It was definitely the right decision. Never having given up on photography through years of service in the IT industry, has  allowed me to combine the skills developed in that field with my life experience and aesthetic appreciation, to insure success in photography at a high level of expertise and with passion.

I speak and write 4 languages fluent: English, German, French and Italian.
